I was repeatedly being invited to many pages and groups on facebook. Most of the groups said that they wanted to get a so and so "Facebook group " deleted. Needless to say that these groups carried a filthy hatred phrase against Islam.They mostly wanted some one million people to join so that X group should be deleted. Will this ever happpen and if so is this right method. NO. Not at all. It is astonishing how intelligent and literate people are being fooled again and again.
Are these groups real ?
First when I came to see a group name "xxx against islam" I was in fix. Even if such group existed, can a muslim be so insane to write those lines again. Naoozubillah, Never. I made a thorough search in facebook to find that no such groups existed for which the removal campaign was going on. More over even if it did exist, forming another group will not solve the problem. By creating another group and inviting everybody on facebook, YOU ARE NOT BYCOTTING, IN FACT YOU ARE PROMOTING.
What is the correct way to do it ?
THE CORRECT WAY IS FIND THAT PARTICULAR GROUP AND USE THE "
REPORT THIS GROUP" BUTTON". When you click this button then facebook gives you an option to choose, why is a profile or group inaapropriate. Here choose hatred against religion / community and submit it. If many people report a group, then it is taken care of by the engineers.
The Case Of Draw ..... Group is different
This page really does exist, so It is my humble appeal to all facebook users to visit this page and then report the group by the method described above, ie the "
REPORT THIS GROUP" BUTTON under racist/hatred speech. I hope this method would be better in solving the problem.
