Ph.D. Positions in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering in Portugal

Dear Aligs Assalamalaikum,

There is a possibility for 2 PhD fellowships based on the approval of the grant from the Portugese foundation for science and Technology (FCT)in the Area of Chemistry/Chemical Engineering. The details of both are given below:


Dr. Zoran P. Visak at Instituto Superior Tecnico, Lisbon, Portugal, like to hire one PhD student from India. He works in the area of Chemical Engineering Thermodynamics: More specifically phase behaviour, liquid - liquid equilibria of polymeric systems, Thermophysical properties measurements of liquid and liquid mixtures etc.

Dr.Vesna Najdanovic Visak at Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Portugal would like to hire another PhD student from India. She works in the area of supercritical fluids Technology.

Applications and CVs are invited for the possible positions and after shortlisting and consultation to the candidates, grant appplications will be made to the FCT. On approval of which the candidates can start working towards their PhD.

People from Physical Chemistry and Chemical Engineering back grounds are preferred. Those who are in their final year of Masters can also apply.
