Analysing cases is an essential part of management course curriculum. Dr. Ahmed’s book is a treatise for management students who find analysing cases an insurmountable task. When asked what inspired her to write the book, she said, " On one hand, students have been an inspiration to me; whose constant fear of handling cases and query on how to go about it motivated me to list a few simple formula and framework for analysing cases and on the other, it was the editorial team of Vikalpa - The Journal of Decision Makers,
published from The Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad that has recognized my efforts by publishing 17 of my case analyses in a series."
