Salad Decoration Competition At AMU Aligarh

The Career Planning Centre, Women’s College, AMU organized Salad Decoration
Competition in which the students of Women’s College and Career Planning Centre
participated enthusiastically to show their creative talent. Dr. Sabra Khatoon, Director,
Career Planning Centre presided over the function and distributed prizes to the winners.
Dr. Ghazala Naheed, Dr. Nazura Usmani and Ms. Renu Maheshwari were the judges.
The first prize and special prize were bagged by Bibi Shabneeze Oozeear of BA who
presented three different concepts i.e., (i) Pearl of Indian Ocean, (ii) Island of Cauliflower
and eggs and (iii) Yoghurt Tropical Salad.
The second prize was awarded to Ms. Rafia Begum of BA (I) who used the concept
of sea and fish.
The third prize went to Ms. Ghazala Hafeez of BA (I) who harped on the concept of
birthday. There were two special prizes – one was for Amna Khan and other was for
Bindu Sharma of Career Planning Centre (Interior Decoration).They used the concept of
field and mandir, respectively.
One special prize from the judges was given to Ms. Sualeha Khalil of BA (I) who
presented the idea of marriage.
